If you love onions, this one’s for you. It’s a recipe that brings back many memories of home in India. My mom would make me this with some soft, warm roti and I would wipe my plate clean. The onions along with the juices of the tomato make such a delicious combination. Enjoy 🙂
Time:
- Prep time – 15 minutes
- Cook time – 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- Large Red Onion (Cut in Half and Sliced) – 3
- Roma Tomatoes (Chopped) – 2
- Black Pepper Powder – 3/4 tsp
- Vegetable Oil – 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Method:
- Heat the oil in deep dish pan. Add the onions and saute for 20 minutes of medium-high heat (Saute until they have caramelized)
- Add the tomatoes and black pepper powder. Saute for 10 minutes
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve warm with rotis 🙂
