This recipe would fit great into your weekly diet! I love the combination of cabbage masala and phulkas. It’s comfort food. I started making this around six months ago when my husband and I decided to make our diet healthier. Not only was it healthy but it tastes as good as it looks.
Time:
- Prep time – 15 minutes
- Cook time – 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Cabbage (Chopped) – 3 cups
- Large Red Onion (chopped) – 1 cup
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Kashmiri Chilli powder – 1 tsp (add 1/2 tsp more if you want it spicier)
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/8 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Garlic (chopped) – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 10
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Coriander for garnish
Method:
- Heat oil. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and crushed garlic
- Add onions and saute till brown
- Add the masalas and salt
- Add cabbage stir-fry fry for 10 minutes until well combined with the onions and masalas. Cover and cook for 10 minutes
- Garnish with coriander
