Mornings have always been a sluggish time for me. I need something to wake me up and the best way is a scrumptious breakfast. These wake me up sandwiches will fill you to the brim with excellent fresh flavors. I have eaten so many similar sandwiches like these at restaurants and coffee shops, but there is nothing like fixing a sandwich for yourself. Try this over the weekend and you will get all the fuel you need to kick start your day 🙂
Time:
- Prep time – 5 minutes
- Cook time – 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- Bread – 4 slices
- Cream Cheese – 1.5 tbsp
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 2 tbsp
- Tomato (Sliced) – 1
- Alfalfa Sprouts – 3 tbsp
- Eggs – 2
- Salt to taste
- Pepper for seasoning
Method:
- Toast the bread until well browned on either side
- Fry the eggs sunny side up
- To assemble the sandwich:
- Spread cream cheese on two of the bread slices
- Place the tomato slices over the cream cheese
- Place the alfalfa sprouts over the tomatoes
- Place the egg (sunny side up) over the alfalfa sprouts
- Drizzle with few drops of olive oil
- Serve warm 🙂
