Who doesn’t love chicken wings? It is a loved starter across the world with different regions having their own take on it. The smoky chicken flavor coupled with the sauce dripping down your fingers makes the whole experience fabulous. Here is a simple recipe for you to try, which will leave you licking your fingers!
Time:
- Prep time – 10 minutes
- Cook time – 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- Chicken Wings – 400 g
- BBQ Sauce – 3.5 tbsp
- I use Jack Daniel BBQ Sauce
- You can add more BBQ Sauce if you like saucy chicken wings
- Onion Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garlic Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Egg wash – 1 tbsp
- Just take one egg and mix it with some water to prepare the egg wash
- Parsley (finely chopped) for garnish
Method:
- Heat a large pot of water. Add some salt to the water. Then, add the chicken wings and cook them for 15 minutes on medium heat
- Meanwhile, turn on you oven and set it at BAKE, 350 F. Also keep a baking tray ready
- Take the chicken wings out of the pot and dry them. Add the BBQ sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix the chicken wings, the sauce and the powders together until the wings are well coated
- Put the ready chicken wings in the baking tray and place in the heated oven. Let it bake for 15 minutes at 350F (In between, take the chicken out of the oven. Using a cooking brush, brush some egg wash on the chicken wings, and then put them back in the oven to continue baking)
- Once complete, take the chicken wings out of the oven and garnish with parsley. Serve with your choice of sauce
