Overnight oats

Few months ago I came across overnight oats! It transformed me to an oats lover after the first bite. It’s a fast, healthy, and oh so tasty breakfast option that you prepare the night before. I’m also going to add a nutella overnight oats recipe here for all those chocolate lovers:) Prepare yours tonight!

Time:

  • Prep time – 5 minutes
  • Cook time – NA

Basic Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients

  • Quaker Oats (Rolled and Quick Cooking) – 2/3 cup
  • Milk (I use 2% reduced) – 1 cup
  • Maple syrup –  2 tsp OR Honey – 2 tsp
  • Fruits: Cut Strawberries, Grapes, Dried Cranberries (Quantities as per preference)

Method

  1. Take a mason jar. Add the Oats, Milk, Maple Syrup, and fruits
  2. Seal the jar and give it a good shake. Store in the refrigerator overnight
  3. Enjoy for breakfast 🙂

Nutella Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients

  • Quaker Oats (Rolled and Quick Cooking) – 2/3 cup
  • Milk (I use 2% reduced) – 1 cup
  • Nutella –  1.5 tbsp
  • Toasted Crushed Hazelnuts – 1 tbsp (OPTIONAL)

Method

  1. Take a mason jar. Add the Oats, Milk, Nutella, and Hazelnuts
  2. Seal the jar and give it a good shake. Store in the refrigerator overnight
  3. Enjoy for breakfast 🙂

Overnight oats with Greek yogurt

Ingredients

  • Quaker Oats (Rolled and Quick Cooking) – 2/3 cup
  • Milk (I use 2% reduced) – 1/2 cup
  • Greek yogurt – 1/2 cup
  • Honey – 2 tsp
  • Fruits: Cut Strawberries, Grapes, Dried Cranberries (Quantities as per preference)

Method

  1. Take a mason jar. Add the Oats, Milk, Greek Yogurt, Honey and Fruits
  2. Seal the jar and give it a good shake. Store in the refrigerator overnight
  3. Enjoy for breakfast 🙂
